Mentorship Program

High school aged young women of color are invited to apply to our mentorship program that runs for 4 months. The mission of the program is to empower and inspire these young women in career exploration. The participants will build connections with culturally conscious professional women of color through activities, workshops, and conferences.

The Mentorship Process

Young women will be matched with an individual that is in their industry of interest for the duration of the program.

During this time, the participants will have weekly phone check in, one individualized meeting with their mentor and one skills-based workshop with their mentor and cohort.**

Upon completion of the program, the young women will participate in our graduation ceremony. As alumni, they have lifetime access to future programming such as our annual With Love Victory Empowerment Conference.

**Due to current COVID-19 restrictions some "in-person" activities will be limited to virtual meetings using platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom etc.

About the Founder

Linda V. Joseph

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Linda Joseph migrated to the United States as a toddler with her mother and grandmother. Ever since she was a child, Linda has loved to create joy and she was a natural at creating space for others. This soon became her conduit for connecting to the world around her. As a teenager, Linda discovered her life’s work would be to help encourage and motivate others. She later went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Social Service Administration, a Master’s degree in School Counseling with additional Advanced Certificates in Play Therapy & School Counseling.

Being an educator since 2005, Linda had a front row seat to the education field. She was drawn to school counseling because of her passion to motivate and support young people during their transitional period in life. Linda would often tell her students, “The world is yours; ONLY if you put in the work!” She also witnessed a need for students to have hands-on experience with careers that they are interested in exploring. Having countless interactions with students, Linda would usually discuss their motivation and how they envisioned their lives beyond high school. She noticed that students who were undecided about their postsecondary path were typically discouraged. To her discovery, this was especially true for female students of color; some even shying away from opportunities because of uncertainties about their career path. Linda was compelled to find solutions for these students so that no girl would fall through the cracks. This became the pivotal inspiration behind starting With Love, Victory Inc.

With Love, Victory Inc. was born out of the need to encourage and provide access to young women of color to explore their career of interest by working with mentors who look like them. The goal is to inform the young women about careers, show them the infinite possibilities, and help them to know that they too can and should be in the room.
